Methodology

In its simplest form, an assessment centre is a method, not a place and involves individual participants undertaking a series of multiple simulations. Assessment centre methodology enables the identification of participants and their ability to demonstrate the desired competencies over a variety of activities in a simulated environment.

In terms of best practice models, research by the British Psychological Society shows assessment centre methodology is far more predictive than traditional recruitment methods. For this reason we recommend the Assessment Centre process when you have 5 or more staff to recruit.
